Welcome to The River Church's home on the web. We are a new, community-based, exciting, and expanding church in Waltham, MA. If this is your first experience with us, please take a look around the site to familiarize yourself with The River, who we are, where we came from, and what we are about.  We would love to meet you in person as well, so check out the Contact Us page and join us for a worship service or a faithgroup (our version of a Bible study or small group). Welcome to The River

Sunday, June 2nd, 12:30pm-2:30pm

Would you like to become a member at The River Church? Do you have questions about who we are, where we came from or what our vision is? Whatever the case may be, we’d like to invite you to join us for our Welcome to The River class on June 2nd from 12:30pm-2:30pm. For those who attend, lunch will be provided. We will be meeting in the staff office located off the staff office.

 

Delta/Vine Night

Friday, June 7th, 7:30pm-9:30pm

If you are a young adult, we would love to invite you to our young adults ministry’s quarterly night of worship on Friday, June 7th from 7:30pm-9:30pm at The River Church. This quarter we are excited to announce that we will be coming together with the Vine Ministry at Community of Faith Christian Fellowship (CFCF) for worship, fellowship and teaching. It has been the vision of the leadership to make these events ones that are centered around both encountering the presence of God and practical equipping within community. This month we will be hearing from Matt Plummer and Johnny Ames and are excited for what God is going to communicate on that night.

 

Baptism

Sunday, June 9th

Would you like to be baptized? Do you have questions about what it means to do so? This summer we will be doing a baptism on June 9th right after church and even if you're not going to be baptized we encourage you to join us to celebrate all that God has done.

 

Corporate Prayer

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30am

Brother Lawrence wrote, “There is not in the world a kind of life more sweet and delightful than that of a continual conversation with God.” As a church we have started a weekly prayer session on Tuesday mornings in the building's sanctuary. Come and join us as we pray for our community, our church and the nations.
